Hello folks,
I am trying to install Slackware 7.1 on my machine but I am having a few
probs:
1. LILO doesn't wanna install properly. I only get to LI (I have forgot the
solution for
that problem but I know it is easy to look up), however when I try to
install LILO
to the MBR, it tells me that it wasn't installed properly. I have not had
any probs installing
LILO with either RedHat or CorelLinux on exactly the same harddrivespace.
2. When I come to the part in the installationprogram where one is supposed
to give the
hostname I have to press cancel to get to the next step which means that I
can't write in
any hostname and it is actually the same thing when I come to the end of the
installation
and is supposed to reboot.
Anyone have any good idea what I can do
An offtopicquestion btw, do anyone know if cfdisk is avilable for
DOS/Windows. I must
say I love it it is really nice.
