OK, I'm going to be anal here and say that it could be possible for a user
to be mistaken for the reasons that some companies (now I'm dating myself
:) use to distribute their updates via their own BBS dialups. While others
may be connected to the internet and may thransfer via HTTP. So the
question could be an honest attempt to distinguish whether the software is
accessable from a private dialup BBS or from the publically accessible
internet. And *yes* I know FTP was not a common transfer protocol of BBS's
but they could have a dialup unix BBS using FTP.

How's that for anal :)
