Hello again,
OK, got a couple of responses back so I figured I should try something
with snmp since thats the router's protocol. got this back:
slowpoke:~ # snmpstatus xxx.yyy.zzz.25 public
[xxx.yyy.zzz.25]=>[BEFSR81] Up: 9 days, 8:43:29.04
Interfaces: 2, Recv/Trans packets: 350497/208527 | IP: 87320/87187
slowpoke:~ #
Not bad uptime :) I guess if I what to explore further I'll have to start
reading "Managing Internetworks with SNMP" so I'll know just what the heck
I'm suppose to do :)
PS. I know blocking out the IP numbers won't make much difference since
someone could still do a host on the domain.
Take er easy, stay cool!
Derek
