I should have noted that once you have eth0 configured and activated, you
should check whether you are being assigned an ip by issuing the
/sbin/ifconfig command.

After that, don't forget to 'log in' to Telus (instructions for this are in
the booklet they give you) on their website, or you won't be able to access
ips out on the general internet. You only have to do this once, unless you
change your network card. If you already logged in using the same card
under Windows, you won't have to bother loggin in again - you'll be surfing
immediately.
