Linksys router vs. LRP

Just a Thought. If you are not transfering huge files internally (within your
network) a 10 meg switch (or hub) should do the trick.

In which case buy yourself a 486 sx or dx, 2 3c509nic cards and build yourself
a router with LRP. (linux router project). Buy a 10 meg hub (considerably
cheaper than the linksys router) and you are off and running. The LRP will
sustain up to 253 clients on the inside.

total cost LRP w/ 2 nic cards $45.00
(LRP Boots off a floppy so no HD nessesary)

plus you will be running LINUX
