Hi,
Thanks for the folks who reply to me personally and I have talked during
the Comdex. I am running now Mandrake 7.2 dual boot with Win98. I am using
my PC card Modem witn KNode to write this e-mail.
Mandrake will partition for you.
Tips for those who want to install Mandrake in their Laptops.
1. Don't use the Graphics Card of your Laptop. Use instead Unlisted and
select SVGA - XFree86Server. I spend 2 days trying to insist to use my
graphic card on my LCD, I could get a display on it. I keep on
reinstalling! Well, if you are expert use Configure X for X Windows!!!. I
am newbie.
2. Use Generic LCD 800x600, 24 bit (in my case).
3. Refine configuration once is running or got decent display of your LCD.
It is easy to confirm and trouble shot the PC Card modem printers, PPP,
etc once it is running.
Thanks. Noli
