Just trying to make a point about responsiveness.

Always worrisome when a sales force starts mentioning the
competition rather than focusing on their own strengths. My take on
sales pitches which mention the competition by name is that the
more they mention a particular competitor the more reason I should
be talking to that particular competitor.

The above statement seems to be a bit arrogant?
>From a network perspective is PSI a good backbone provider? In
recent years they have become very particular on who they peer
with and I believe they have reduced the number of companies with
which they allow no charge peering. The PSI backbone may not be
the best route to all destinations as is was in the past.
The best backbone provider is dependent on who you are
attempting to reach. PSI, being one of the old line service
providers, supports more access type customers than content type
customers. Companies like Exodus, as an example, are primarily
in the business of providing content rather than providing access.
My understanding is Peer1 offers 24 hour unescorted access
colocation areas and limited access by escort only areas. They are
flexible. PSINet taking shots at Peer1 sounds a touch desperate.
