According to the facilities diagram I requisitioned from them just a few
weeks ago, their current Vancouver connectivity is an OC-3 to Teleglobe,
an OC-12 to UUNET, multiple OC-3s to their other Canadian data centres
(from which they again have combinations of OC-3 and OC-12 connectivity)
as well as local peering connections.

At the very least I can't fault their connectivity to Colobrokers, as
Novus Telecom, and hence Gweep Systems connect to the world through
Colobrokers:

traceroute to map.net (209.17.159.201), 30 hops max, 40 byte packets
 1 gw (192.168.1.254) 0 ms 0 ms 0 ms
 2 80.1.novustelecom.net (64.69.80.1) 1 ms 1 ms 1 ms
 3 64.69.67.66 (64.69.67.66) 2 ms 1 ms 1 ms
 4 FE1-2.van-gsr-a.peer1.net (64.69.67.145) 2 ms 1 ms 2 ms
 5 bcix-colobrokers.hc.BC.net (134.87.99.14) 2 ms 2 ms 2 ms
 6 216.18.0.241 (216.18.0.241) 10 ms 13 ms 11 ms
 7 216.18.31.130 (216.18.31.130) 11 ms 13 ms 15 ms
 8 216.18.29.217 (216.18.29.217) 13 ms 17 ms 12 ms
 9 admin.map.net (209.17.159.201) 13 ms 14 ms 12 ms

GT are certainly not immune to problems, but so far most of the problems
I've tracked down from customer reports have been outside the of GT
network. The most recent was a problem between Teleglobe and Deutche
Telecom, reported by a German map.net user.
