This is an announcement list for the Vancouver Linux Users Group. All postings to this list will also appear on the vanlug mailing list, which is the general discussion list for the users group. For information on the general list send mail to the general list send mail to vanlug-request@gweep.bc.ca.

The announcemnt list only allows a very few people unfettered posting access, all other submissions will be held for approval by the list administrator. Expect most inappropriate posts to vanish unremarked.

VanLUG meetings are held on the third Monday evening of each month at UBC. The details will be posted on the VanLUG home page (and to c.o.l.a., bc.unix, van.general, ubc.general, and ubc.events) about a week before the meeting. Everyone interested in UNIX, GNU, Linux, BSD, etc. is most welcome to attend.
