Activity: Software Installation
Place: Faronics
Time: 7-9 pm

Participants: VanLUG Software Demonstration Group
Faronics Staff
Purpose: Install Linux demo suite on the Faronics PII 350
workstations and dual PII server.

Sat, Jan 9
Activity: Volunteer Briefing
Place: UBC, Brock Hall Annex, Rm 362
Time: 10 am - 1 pm

Participants: ALL VanLUG COMDEX volunteers
Purpose: Distribute Linux in BC shirts, demonstrate Linux demo
suite, develop procedures and divide up responsibilities
amongst booth staff, agree upon best answers to FAQ's,
especially those involving controversial issues.
Activity: Backdrop Assembly
Place: UBC, Brock Hall Annex, Rm 362
Time: TBA

Purpose: Prepare backdrop for quick deployment at COMDEX.

Activity: Booth Setup
Place: Vancouver Trade and Convention Centre

Purpose: Deliver computer systems and other booth equipment to
VTCC.

COMDEX - Bill Gillespie will post additional information
concerning badge pickup, staffing schedule, etc., shortly.
