The Vancouver Linux Users Group
will meet again on

at UBC in the
Centre for Integrated Computer Systems Research

*Anyone* interested in Linux, UNIX, or GNU software is
most welcome to attend. The theme for tonight's meeting
is "Preparing for the Worst - Power Hits and Disk Crashes".
(Note: The nearest parkade is the Health Sciences Parkade
just off East Mall. Parking is a flat $3 after 6 pm. See

(Our meetings generally attract between 75 and 125 people.
Attendees range from absolute newcomers to UNIX wizards.

tape and bring you up to date.

While Red Hat's contributions to the Linux community are
legendary, we would be remiss if we failed to offer them
our thoughts concerning what they're doing right and what
we would prefer to see them do differently. Kiel will
moderate the discussion and prepare a submission based on
the results!
