VanLUG will meet at BCIT next week and again in August.
While some people cheer this news, others are less enthusiastic.
Unfortunately, there is no way to keep everyone happy. We'll simply
take another vote in mid-August (after people have had a chance to fully
assess the BCIT location) and try to satisfy the group as best we can.
We looked at the transit issue very carefully and found that BCIT is
much better served than we had first expected. However, some people are
still going to be inconvenienced. Hopefully, the number will be small
and measures such as carpooling will be helpful.
As always, your comments and opinions on this are most welcome.
