I've finally gotten around to creating vanlug-offtopic@gweep.bc.ca for
non-Linux discussion within the VanLUG community. I've also created the
vanlug.offtopic newsgroup on the Gweep and UBC-CS servers; hopefully
Bruce will create it on the Fireplug server soon. To subscribe to the

If you want to ask the group a question, or in general post about
anything that is not at least reasonably Linux related, please use the
new list. If a thread drifts offtopic in the main list, please redirect
your responses to the offtopic list. Also, please do not crosspost
between the two lists, as that really doesn't work very well.
